Just a heads up, work is under way on the next update to Chrono Trigger: Flames of Eternity.
In the next update, we have squashed yet another show stopping bug left over from the CE Baseline, and we’re also retooling Glenn’s speech to reflect his original accent from Chrono Trigger.
A small example:
”Glenn: Attention! To earn membership
thou must first scour the land.
Go to all corners of Zenan and beyond
spreading courage, valor and
compassion. Return and spread the
gospel of thine deeds!
Return with honor worthy of Guardia!”
As you can see from the small example above, we have taken the time to fine tune his lines this time around.

The original japanese speech didn't any kind of special accent, it was put in the english translation, IMO it's not really necesary.

ReplyDeleteYou have to consider though that the original English version did have it. So to continue with the true feel of the original English game which is probably what most people here have played why wouldn't it remain the same? It just makes the most sense... To me, at least.
